We want to hear your experiences, insights and ideas. Then we want to use the direct voice of people thinking about ageing to influence a different approach to supports and services for older people.
To start to do this we have partnered with a small, creative organisation called Gobby. Gobby is a clever piece of technology that allows us to collate and analyse all your various insights and experiences. That analysis will inform not just reports but the next stage of our work.
Gobby takes your insights but not your stories. We want to hear those as well (they will be just as vital in influencing supports and services for older people in the future). Contact info@wigo.org,uk to find the best way to share your stories.
To make best use of Gobby:
- There is a word limit of 200 characters for each answer. Try to express your answer as concisely as possible so that we understand your insight really well.
- You don’t need to put all your thoughts into the first answer. New text boxes will appear every time you submit an answer. Try and use separate text boxes for each point you want to make.
- One of the amazing things about Gobby is that as you are writing down your insights you will see matched responses offered by other people. Be mindful of the fact that they can also see your response!
If for some reason Gobby doesn’t work for you let us know at info@wigo.org,uk and we will try and find a work-around that works better for you.
There’s no formal deadline.
Thank you so much for being part of the When I Get Old (WIGO) movement. We’re really looking forward to hearing what you think. An early report should be on the website by the end of June (depending on how quickly people are able to engage with the Gobby and/or share their stories).
